Second Principle of Bahais is the oneness of Humanity :-

Abdul Baha said : All humans are divine sheep and God is the kind shepherd who has utmost compassion towards all the sheep and has made no distinction between them. Baha’is claim that all people are part of God’s creation. Skin colour, beauty, and looks are no reason for the superiority of someone over another and must not be a cause of conflict and enmity.

Ref :- Abdu’l-Bahā, Makātīb (Egypt), vol. 3, p. 67.

The definition of the Oneness of Humanity is that all people are brothers, sisters, daughters, mothers, sons, and fathers of each other, and must have no enmity towards one another.

Now, we would analyse their 2nd principle with different aspects.

1st Perspective:-

Is the Oneness of Humanity a New Principle?

This Baha’i principle is nothing novel or new. In fact, `Abdu’l-Bahā’ confesses in his book that this teaching existed in all Divine Religion.

Ref : Al Khatabat (Tehran) Vol 2 pg 286 .

Poet sadi said this 1000 yrs before.`Abdu’l-Bahā clearly announces with great emphasis that Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad all invited people to the Oneness of Humanity. He is clearly confessing that this teaching is not new. Despite this, at other times he uttered the contrary and claimed that the previous Prophets divided humanity and it was only Baha’u’llah that proclaimed the Oneness of Humanity.

Ref : Abdu’l-Bahā, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 158.

Abdu’l-Bahā continuously changed his words depending on the audience he was preaching to.

2nd Perspective:-

Did the Founders of Baha’ism Believe in the Oneness of Humanity?

Baha’i scripture is replete with violations of this principle. According to them,

1) Black Africans are All Like Wild Savages and Land Dwelling Animals:

Ref : Abdu’l-Bahā, Makātīb (Egypt), vol. 1, p. 331.

2) Even though `Abdu’l-Bahā orders his followers not to say that one is Turk, this one is French, but they themselves have not acted upon their wordings . The following quotes shows how Bahā’u’llāh and `Abdu’l-Bahā described non-Baha’is and their enemies which clearly contradict the stories Baha’is preach about their leaders and their claims about the Oneness of Humanity.

a)Non-Baha’is Are like Dry Trees That Are Only Worthy of Fire.

b) No Socializing Allowed with Non-Baha’is.

c) Non-Baha’is Are Not Humans or Lack the Traits of Being Considered as Humans .

d) Non-Baha’is Are Animals.

e) Bahā’u’llāh Wishes Death on Non-Baha’is .

f) Baha’is are Precious Jewels and Non-Baha’is are Worthless Pebbles .

g) Non-Baha’is Must Be Tormented .

h) Non-Baha’is Are Bastards That Will Go to Hell .

i) Non-Baha’is Are the Manifestation of Satan and Hell .

j) Non-Baha’is Have No Knowledge or Reason .

Some of these sayings could be found in the below mentioned books .

Ref : Abd al-Ḥamīd Ishrāq Khāwarī, Mā’idiy-i āsimānī

Abdu’l-Bahā’s book Makātīb (Egypt) could also be referred for the above mentioned quotes.

And there are other books also where we can get these sayings .

Third Perspective:-

Is This Principle Correct From a Rational and Logical Perspective?

The Oneness of Humanity was exaggerated to such an extent by `Abdu’l-Bahā that he even gave orders to be kind to tyrants, oppressors, and traitors

Ref : Asad-Allāh Fāḍil Māzandarānī, Amr wa khalq, vol. 3,p. 228.

These orders were so unreasonable and illogical that when `Abdu’l-Bahā was not preaching the Oneness of Humanity he would often openly contradict them.

Ref : Abdu’l-Bahā, Some Answered Questions, p. 215.

Their leaders have themselves contradicted their wordings .
